Over the weekend, the IDF eliminated key Hamas terrorists, exposed a Turkey-based terror network, killed a Hamas sniper who worked as an Al Jazeera photographer, and targeted a financial network that funneled more than half a billion shekels to Hamas.

Hamas Finance Network Behind Half-Billion Shekel Transfers Dismantled
The IDF announced the elimination of Hussein Kadra and Mohammed Fara, operatives involved in a Hamas-run financial network that transferred more than NIS 500 million to the terror group’s military wing in Gaza.

According to the military, the network operated through dozens of couriers and money changers in Turkey and Gaza and helped fund Hamas operations, including salaries for terrorists and attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Hamas Sniper Posing as Al Jazeera Cameraman Eliminated
The IDF said it eliminated Ahmed Samir Mohammed Washah, a Hamas military operative who worked as a sniper while also serving as a cameraman for Al Jazeera.

The military said Washah recently advanced sniper attacks and other terrorist activity against Israeli forces in Gaza. He was killed alongside two additional Hamas operatives in a precision airstrike.

Israel Exposes Turkey-Based Hamas Network Behind Dozens of Terror Plots
The IDF and Shin Bet revealed details of a Hamas network operating from Turkey that allegedly directed and financed dozens of terror attacks over the past year.

According to the investigation, Hamas operatives based in Turkey recruited terrorists, transferred weapons and funds, and coordinated military activity in Judea and Samaria as well as elsewhere in Israel.

Israeli and Greek Navies Deepen Strategic Cooperation
Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras completed an official visit to Israel, where he met with Israeli Navy Commander Vice Admiral Eyal Harel.

The visit highlighted the growing defense partnership between Israel and Greece and included discussions aimed at expanding strategic and operational cooperation.

Massive Hezbollah Tunnel Uncovered in Southern Lebanon
The IDF revealed an underground Hezbollah tunnel beneath the village of Majdal Zoun containing hundreds of weapons, four launch shafts aimed at Israel, and multiple storage and living quarters.

The tunnel stretched more than 200 meters and reached depths exceeding 25 meters. During operations in the area, Israeli forces eliminated more than 20 Hezbollah terrorists and dismantled over 50 terror sites.

October 7 Terrorist and Kidnapper Eliminated
The IDF announced the elimination of Zaki Youssef Mahmoud Abu Mustafa, the Islamic Jihad Nukhba commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade who infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 massacre and participated in the abduction of Yagil Yaakov.

The military said Abu Mustafa was responsible for numerous attacks against Israeli forces and used Nasser Hospital for terrorist activity. Hamas Nukhba operative Mohammed Osama Abd al-Aziz Saba al-Eish was also eliminated.

IDF Chief of Staff: Ceasefire in Lebanon Remains Fragile
During a visit to maneuvering brigade commanders in southern Lebanon, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir stressed that the military remains focused on protecting northern Israeli communities and preparing for any escalation.

Zamir warned that the ceasefire remains fragile and said the IDF must maintain a high level of readiness to quickly transition back to offensive operations if necessary. He also praised the resilience and combat performance of the 401st Armored Brigade despite heavy losses sustained during the war.
