The IDF reported on Sunday that twelve soldiers were injured in an operational traffic accident near the Gaza border.

Two soldiers sustained moderate injuries, while the remaining ten were lightly hurt.

All were evacuated to receive medical treatment, and their families have been informed.

According to initial reports, the accident involved a collision between three Hummer jeeps.

Soldiers at the scene told Walla that visibility was severely limited due to dust clouds.

The incident is currently under investigation. It follows a similar accident in September, when a Hummer overturned in northern Gaza, injuring ten soldiers.

Two were airlifted to Hadassah-University Medical Center in Jerusalem, while the others were transported by ambulance.

The IDF emphasized that it is continuing to prioritize the safety and care of its personnel while examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
