IDF forces were dispatched Tuesday evening to the village of Khirbet al-Halayawa in the Judea Brigade area following reports that several Palestinians assaulted an Israeli civilian, stole part of his flock, and took personal equipment.
At the same time, a separate report was received of Israeli civilians entering the nearby village of Khirbet al-Fakhit, where multiple friction points developed.
IDF troops, together with Hebron District police, acted to disperse the confrontations and restore order.
During the incidents, one Israeli civilian and three Palestinians were injured and evacuated for medical treatment.
The IDF said that during efforts to break up the clashes, an IDF officer was assaulted by a Palestinian woman and suffered facial injuries.
Two Palestinian suspects were arrested and transferred to Israel Police for further investigation.
The incidents followed a large-scale security operation carried out late last week in the Judea Brigade area, during which forces operated in Hebron, scanned roughly 350 buildings, arrested 14 wanted suspects, and seized weapons.
