IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited the 210th Division, reviewing developments in southern Syria and meeting reservists serving in the area.

The return of Hezbollah terrorists to the South occurs just when the IDF discovered several new major Hezbollah tunnel systems, significantly larger and more sophisticated than those uncovered in the past.

The upgrade represents the most significant enhancement to Israel’s early‑warning network since the nationwide Tzeva Adom system was deployed in 2007.

‘We are determined to further weaken the Iranian terror regime and its capabilities, while maintaining readiness and flexibility for as long as required,’ Zamir said.

More than 100,000 reservists have been mobilized, and the IDF Northern Command remains in a state of high readiness.
