Israeli troops eliminated the head of a terrorist network in the northern Samaria town of Tamun overnight Tuesday, according to Israeli security forces.
A joint statement by the Israel Defense Forces, Israel Police and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) on Wednesday did not name the individual, stating only that he was “involved in planning and carrying out terrorist attacks against Israeli security [personnel] and Israeli civilians.”
Two additional members of the Tamun network were arrested.
The overnight operation was part of ongoing counterterror efforts in the Jenin area and the broader northern Samaria region.
