IDF forces continued operations in southern Lebanon overnight as part of an ongoing effort to locate and destroy Hezbollah terror infrastructure, the military said.
Troops from the 228th Brigade and the 300th Brigade, operating under Division 91, carried out targeted missions across multiple villages where Hezbollah activity has recently intensified.
In Aitaroun, forces from the 228th Brigade demolished several structures used by Hezbollah operatives for terror activity. According to the IDF, recent indications showed the terror group had begun attempting to rebuild some of these sites.
In Ramyeh, troops from the 300th Brigade conducted a focused mission to eliminate weapons and military equipment discovered in the area. Among the items located and destroyed were rifles, Kalashnikov-type weapons, magazines, and ammunition.
The IDF added that over the past week, division forces — working alongside the Air Force and guided by Military Intelligence — struck five Hezbollah targets and eliminated three terrorists in several southern Lebanon villages.
The military said operations along the northern border will continue as Hezbollah maintains an active threat against Israeli communities and forces.
