In response to Hamas’ blatant violations of the ceasefire, the Israel Defense Forces, together with the Shin Bet, carried out a series of precise strikes against dozens of terror targets across the Gaza Strip. The operations targeted key Hamas commanders and infrastructure, reinforcing Israel’s commitment to protect its citizens and soldiers.

The strikes come after Hamas once again attacked Israeli forces, killing Master Sergeant (Res.) Yona Efraim “Efi” Feldbaum, 37, from Zayit Raanan in the Binyamin region, while his unit was dismantling Hamas tunnels in Rafah.

Hamas also attempted to deceive mediators by claiming to have discovered the body of an Israeli hostage in Gaza. However, IDF drone footage later revealed that the terrorists had staged the scene by burying, and then pretending to “uncover” what were in fact additional remains of a hostage whose body had already been returned to Israel.

Among the Hamas terrorists eliminated in the latest strikes were three battalion commanders, two deputy battalion commanders, and sixteen company commanders. The IDF also targeted observation posts, weapons production warehouses, launch sites, underground tunnels, and mortar firing positions used to threaten Israeli communities.

Several of the terrorists neutralized had taken part in the October 7 massacre, including Muhammad Isa, commander of a Nukhba platoon; Fawwaz ‘Uwayda, commander of a Nukhba terrorist cell; Hatem Maher Mousa Qudra, a Nukhba company commander; and Muhammad Abu Shari’a and Nidal Abu Shari’a, terrorists from the Mijahideen organization.

“The IDF has been ordered to act with force against any Hamas target, and that will continue into the future,” said Defense Minister Israel Katz. “There is and will be no immunity for anyone in Hamas leadership, whether they wear suits or hide in tunnels. Anyone who raises a hand against IDF soldiers will pay the full price. Those who attack our soldiers or violate agreements will pay the full price.”

Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem condemned the Israeli response, calling it a “major massacre” and claiming that Israel had acted in disregard of the ceasefire. He accused Israel of showing “clear disrespect” to mediators and guarantor countries and urged urgent action to stop Israeli operations.

The IDF’s actions demonstrate Israel’s unwavering commitment to defending its people and holding terrorists accountable. Every operation is carried out with precision, targeting those who threaten Israeli lives while dismantling the infrastructure that Hamas relies on to continue its campaign of terror.

These strikes reflect Israel’s resolve to maintain security, deter aggression, and uphold the sanctity of life. Hamas has repeatedly shown that it is not interested in peace, but in killing Israelis and using terror as a weapon. The message from Israel is clear: anyone who attacks its soldiers or civilians will face the full force of the IDF.
