The Israel Defense Forces carried out a wide-ranging wave of airstrikes on Sunday targeting key Iranian regime combat headquarters across Tehran, striking dozens of operational command centers after the Israeli Air Force established aerial superiority over the Iranian capital.
According to military officials, the targets included command facilities belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, intelligence headquarters, Revolutionary Guard air force command posts, and internal security centers responsible for coordinating military operations.
The strikes were directed at locations where Israeli Military Intelligence identified active personnel involved in managing the ongoing campaign and planning attacks against Israel and other countries in the region.
Officials said the targeted compounds functioned as central hubs for operational coordination and terror planning carried out by the Iranian regime.
One of the emergency command complexes struck served as a joint operations and intelligence center, from which senior officers directed combat activity and assembled real-time operational and intelligence assessments used to guide Iranian military actions.
The completed strike wave dealt a significant blow to Iran’s command-and-control capabilities, eliminating personnel inside some of the regime’s most critical headquarters and severely disrupting its ability to coordinate military operations.
