More than two and a half months after the ceasefire, IDF forces continue to locate Hamas weapons along the yellow line in Gaza, the military said, underscoring ongoing security activity in the area.
According to the IDF, troops from the Northern Brigade Combat Team uncovered a rocket launcher loaded with five rockets and prepared for launch toward Israeli territory during operations in the Beit Hanoun area of northern Gaza.
The military said the launcher was located during a targeted operation aimed at identifying and neutralizing weapons, as part of continued efforts to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the area.
The IDF added that forces operating under Southern Command remain deployed in the sector in accordance with the ceasefire framework and continue to carry out missions to remove immediate threats to the State of Israel.
The military emphasized that its forces will continue operating in the area as required to prevent attacks and ensure the security of Israeli civilians.
