The Israel Defense Forces said Tuesday that Israeli airstrikes are continuing to expand across Iran, with coordinated strikes targeting key military and security facilities in Tehran and Tabriz.

According to the IDF, the Israeli Air Force carried out a combined wave of strikes earlier Tuesday, hitting several central command centers used by Iran’s security forces.

The operation was conducted with intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) and in coordination with the IDF Operations Directorate.

Among the sites targeted were the headquarters of special units in Tabriz, a military compound belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tehran, and a command center responsible for ballistic missile launches and artillery operations.

Israeli forces also struck the headquarters of Iran’s Intelligence and General Security Police in the Maragheh district, along with a large Basij militia complex in Tabriz.

The IDF said the facilities were targeted while Iranian regime personnel were present and actively engaged in activities linked to attacks against Israel and other countries in the region.

Earlier Tuesday, the military announced that another wave of overnight strikes in Tehran targeted critical infrastructure tied to Iran’s weapons development programs.

One of the main targets was an underground research and development complex used by the Revolutionary Guards for weapons development, including experiments related to the production of ballistic missiles.

The underground facility was located within the grounds of the Revolutionary Guards’ central military university, Imam Hossein University, which the IDF said was being used as an emergency operational hub.

During the same wave of strikes, Israeli forces also hit infrastructure inside the main headquarters of the Quds Force, along with additional sites involved in the production of weapons and defensive systems for the Iranian regime.

The IDF said the operations are part of an expanding phase of strikes aimed at weakening the core military systems and operational foundations of Iran’s regime.
