Omer Moshe Gealdor, a 30-year-old reservist from Jerusalem, served in Unit 5111 of the Golani Brigade.

On the morning of November 19, while helping secure an area for his brigade in southern Lebanon—roughly two kilometers from the border—Omer was killed when a Hezbollah explosive drone struck the IDF force from Battalion 53.

In the years before his death, Omer had fought through a serious illness, ultimately recovering with extraordinary resilience.

His return to reserve duty after that battle was a testament to his deep sense of duty and dedication to his fellow soldiers.

May his memory be for a blessing.
