Israeli Air Force Strikes Iranian Navy Assets in Caspian Sea for First Time

In a major development, the Israeli Air Force, guided by Naval Intelligence and Military Intelligence, carried out its first-ever strike in the Caspian Sea during Operation “Roaring Lion,” targeting key Iranian naval infrastructure.

Fighter jets struck the Iranian Navy port, hitting missile ships, patrol vessels, and support vessels, along with a central naval command center and maintenance infrastructure. The port had been used for operational naval activity, which was disrupted by the strike.

Israeli officials described the operation as one of the most significant since the start of the campaign, dealing a blow to Iran’s naval capabilities and its control over the Caspian maritime space.
