IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir convenes commanders to boost war readiness
‘We must remain constantly alert and ready for decisive action,’ Zamir said.

‘We must remain constantly alert and ready for decisive action,’ Zamir said.

Zamir met on Friday at the Pentagon with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, highlighting the senior and operational nature of the talks.

Zamir said in closed-door discussions that no date has been set for a potential U.S. strike on Iran.

‘The IDF is prepared to activate an unprecedented offensive capability in its power against any attempt to harm the State of Israel.’

‘We are in full monitoring mode and prepared for any development,’ Defrin said.

The military emphasized that it maintains a high level of readiness for unexpected scenarios.

IDF’s ‘Firm Hand’ exercise simulates a war starting in northern Israel and spreading to other fronts, including Iran.
