Israeli forces launched targeted raids in southern Lebanon while hitting Iranian military sites, Hezbollah infrastructure, and terror cells in Gaza.

Forces from the 91st Division began targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon to dismantle Hezbollah launch sites, command posts, and other infrastructure used to attack Israel.

During a visit to Tel Nof Airbase, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir praised aircrews, UAV operators, and technicians for their readiness and performance in Operation Roaring Lion.

‘We have additional surprising moves in hand which I will not reveal,’ Zamir said.

Israeli officials have downplayed the ground operations report.

Military rabbis reported unprecedented numbers of soldiers—many who had never worn tefillin before—asking to put them on before battle.

‘We must remain constantly alert and ready for decisive action,’ Zamir said.

Zamir met on Friday at the Pentagon with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, highlighting the senior and operational nature of the talks.

Israeli intelligence believes that Hezbollah could be ordered by Tehran to open a northern front if Iran comes under attack.

‘We will not allow the Hamas terrorist organization to rebuild its power or threaten us again.’

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said the IDF has crushed Hamas’s frontline forces, secured a new defensive line in Gaza, and is fully committed to permanently disarming Hamas and ensuring Israel never returns to the reality of October 7.

Zamir noted that the fighters operate at the heart of IDF activity, defending the people of Israel, the Land of Israel, and Jewish tradition while maintaining a Haredi lifestyle.

Israeli intelligence discovered that Tabatabai was meeting with four aides – but only for a short time.

‘We are acting continuously to thwart terrorism and its infrastructure,’ Zamir said, adding that the IDF will bolster security for communities throughout the region.

In the ‘Magen Oz’ exercise, IDF forces across all branches test their readiness for a range of intense scenarios, sharpening command response, defense and attack coordination, and rapid reaction to emerging threats.

‘Today we saw engagement, determination, and professional conduct, exactly as we expect and train for in the IDF.’

‘If required, we must be prepared for a rapid transition to a broad offensive to seize additional areas beyond the yellow line.’

Intelligence assessments indicate that Hamas is exploiting the ceasefire to rebuild its tunnel network and rearm with more missiles.

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir met with the U.S. Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Kain to review regional threats, including Gaza, and reinforce the strategic partnership between the Israeli and U.S. militaries.

Analysts suggest it may take Iran over a decade to rebuild its compromised infrastructure.
