“We’ve done enormous work, achieved tremendous results, but there is still more to do, and we are doing it,” Netanyahu said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited southern Lebanon on Sunday, where he met with Israeli troops and senior commanders and received operational briefings on the ongoing campaign against Hezbollah.
The visit included Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo.
Netanyahu later arrived at an IDF position near the border, where he was briefed by Brig. Gen. Yuval Gaz, commander of the Galilee Formation, on the division’s activity in the sector.
Standing alongside reserve soldiers, Netanyahu praised what he described as a strong fighting spirit on the ground. “There is a wonderful spirit here and a readiness to fight,” he said. “They are fighting well.”
He stressed that operations in Lebanon are ongoing, including within the security zone established by Israeli forces. “The war continues, including inside the security zone in Lebanon,” Netanyahu said, noting that he had visited the area shortly before addressing troops.
Netanyahu said the security zone has already helped prevent a major cross-border threat. “We thwarted the threat of an invasion from Lebanon thanks to this security zone,” he said, adding that Israeli forces are also working to push back anti-tank fire and rocket threats.
“We’ve done enormous work, achieved tremendous results, but there is still more to do, and we are doing it,” he said.
Framing the campaign in broader terms, Netanyahu said Israel’s actions have shifted the balance of power across the region. “One of the things we see here is that we have changed the face of the Middle East,” he said.
“Our enemies, Iran and the axis of evil, came to destroy us, and now they are fighting for their survival,” Netanyahu added. “We see this in every arena.”
He called the developments “a tremendous achievement” for Israel and the IDF, praising both regular and reserve forces.
“The people of Israel salute you,” Netanyahu said.
