As part of the expanded “Iron Wall” campaign in the Judea and Samaria Division, the Nahal Brigade’s combat team conducted large-scale counter-terrorism operations in northern Samaria.
The forces completed thorough searches in the villages of Jaba, Meithalun, Anza, and Sanur, scanning over 1,500 buildings.
The operation resulted in the arrest of multiple suspects wanted for terrorist activities, the confiscation of weapons, and the interrogation of individuals linked to potential threats.
The seized weapons and detained suspects were handed over to security forces for further processing.
For the first time, the Nahal Brigade deployed Eitan armored personnel carriers in Hebron, within the Judea Brigade’s area, alongside their operations in Samaria.
This marked a significant enhancement in the brigade’s operational capabilities, leveraging advanced equipment to navigate complex terrains and bolster security measures.
The campaign aims to disrupt terrorist networks, secure the region, and ensure the safety of Israeli residents and citizens in the area.
According to a Nahal Brigade company commander, He said “Our mission is to maintain relentless pressure on terrorist elements, ensuring they cannot operate freely in these areas.”
The operation reflects Israel’s broader strategy to maintain operational dominance in Judea and Samaria amid heightened regional tensions, including recent Israeli strikes on Iranian targets and retaliatory attacks.
By targeting potential terror hubs and confiscating illegal arms, the Nahal Brigade seeks to prevent attacks and preserve stability.
The use of Eitan vehicles underscores the military’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into its counter-terrorism efforts.
The ongoing “Iron Wall” campaign is designed to safeguard communities while reinforcing Israel’s security posture in a volatile region, with forces remaining vigilant to address emerging threats.
