IDF Launches Targeted Ground Operations in Southern Lebanon
As part of the forward defense mission, IDF forces from the 91st Division have begun targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon, focusing on key Hezbollah infrastructure to expand Israel’s defensive perimeter along the northern border. Prior to the maneuver, Israeli artillery and the Air Force struck numerous Hezbollah targets in the area. The operations aim to eliminate terror infrastructure, neutralize terrorists, and create an additional security layer for communities in northern Israel.
IAF Destroys Aircraft Used by Iran’s Supreme Leader in Tehran
The Israeli Air Force carried out a targeted strike overnight destroying an aircraft used by Iranian regime leader Ali Khamenei at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. According to the IDF, the plane was used by senior regime officials and military figures to coordinate arms procurement and maintain ties with Iran’s regional proxy network. Officials said the strike removes another strategic asset used to strengthen Iran’s military capabilities.
IRGC Naval Headquarters in Tehran Targeted
Israeli aircraft struck the main headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy in eastern Tehran. The facility served as a command center for operations targeting Israel and for activities threatening international shipping in the region. The IRGC naval force has been directly linked to attacks on civilian vessels and the transfer of weapons to Iran’s proxy groups.
Iranian Anti-Satellite Weapons Development Center Destroyed
The IDF confirmed the destruction of a space warfare research center used by Iran to develop anti-satellite capabilities. The facility was part of Iran’s military space program and was involved in developing technologies capable of threatening Israeli and international satellite systems. Israeli officials said the strike follows an earlier attack on another Iranian space research center in Tehran.
Hezbollah Weapons Cache Discovered; Terrorists Eliminated
During operations linked to the forward defense mission, Israeli forces located a large Hezbollah weapons cache containing dozens of rockets, explosives, and firearms inside a military structure previously struck by the Air Force. In a separate incident, Israeli aircraft eliminated two armed Hezbollah operatives who were moving toward Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.
Hamas Terror Cell Behind October 7 Attacks Eliminated
Israeli forces eliminated a Hamas terror cell planning attacks against IDF troops in Gaza. Among those killed were two Nukhba terrorists who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre, along with additional terrorists from Hamas and allied terror groups.
IDF Chief of Staff: Iran Is the Central Arena of the War
During a visit to Northern Command, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said Iran remains the primary front in the conflict, noting that weakening Tehran’s regime will also weaken Hezbollah and the broader network of Iranian-backed groups. According to Zamir, more than 400 Hezbollah terrorists have been killed in the northern campaign so far, as Israeli forces intensify efforts to push the threat away from the border and secure northern communities.
