Hezbollah Terrorists Eliminated, Launchers Destroyed in Southern Lebanon
Troops from the IDF’s multi-dimensional unit under Division 36 eliminated several Hezbollah terrorists identified as immediate threats in southern Lebanon, including via drone strikes and coordinated airstrikes. Forces also located and destroyed multiple launchers using advanced technological means.
Givati Forces Kill Terrorists, Seize Weapons Cache
Givati Brigade troops operating under Division 91 eliminated armed Hezbollah terrorists approaching their positions and uncovered dozens of weapons, including rifles, machine guns, anti-tank missiles, and combat gear intended for attacks against Israeli forces.
Hezbollah Attacks Continue with Rockets and Drones
Hezbollah launched multiple rockets and explosive drones throughout the day toward IDF forces in southern Lebanon. Several aerial threats were intercepted, while others fell near troops without causing casualties.
Underground Hezbollah Tunnel Destroyed
Forces from Brigade 401 under Division 146 located an approximately 80-meter underground tunnel containing multiple rooms used by Hezbollah terrorists. The structure was investigated and later destroyed by engineering units.
Additional Rocket Stockpiles and Weapons Found
During operations in southern Lebanon, IDF forces uncovered around 20 rockets along with additional weapons caches, including sniper rifles and other equipment. More than 100 weapons have been located in recent targeted operations.
Airstrike Eliminates Hezbollah Cell Transporting Weapons
IDF forces identified Hezbollah terrorists transporting weapons near Israeli positions. In a rapid response, the Air Force struck and eliminated the cell.
Hamas Terrorist Killed Near Gaza Buffer Zone
In northern Gaza, IDF troops identified and eliminated a Hamas terrorist approaching forces near the buffer zone, removing what was described as an immediate threat.
Violent Clash in Shchem Dispersed by IDF
During operations in the Shchem area, IDF forces responded to a violent disturbance in which suspects threw stones at troops. Forces used riot-dispersal measures and live fire to neutralize the threat, with several hits identified.
Reserve Forces Complete Operations in Northern Gaza
Reserve troops from the “Iron Fist” Brigade (205), operating under Division 252, completed a two-month deployment in northern Gaza. During the operation, forces destroyed eight underground tunnels, conducted more than six kilometers of excavation, and eliminated dozens of terrorists.
Ongoing Operations to Remove Threats Across Fronts
IDF forces continue operations in both Lebanon and Gaza to locate weapons, dismantle terror infrastructure, and eliminate threats as part of ongoing efforts to secure Israeli civilians and troops.
