An IDF reserve officer was killed in Lebanon, as Israeli forces eliminated an October 7 terrorist in Gaza and struck more than 25 Hezbollah targets across the northern front.

IDF Officer Killed in Hezbollah Attack in Southern Lebanon
Maj. (res.) Itamar Sapir, 27, from Eli, a deputy company commander in Battalion 7008 of the 551st Brigade, was killed in a firefight with a Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon. The attacker emerged from a church in the village of Qawzah and opened fire on IDF troops. The military struck the area from the air, though the terrorist is believed to have escaped. Sapir is the ninth Israeli security fatality since the start of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

IDF Eliminates Oct. 7 Infiltrator in Gaza
IDF forces from the 188th Brigade operating in southern Gaza identified and eliminated a Hamas terrorist who crossed the “yellow line” and approached troops, posing an immediate threat. The military said the terrorist had infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and had recently been involved in planning attacks against IDF forces.

Hezbollah Explosive Drone Detonates Near Border
An explosive drone launched by Hezbollah toward IDF troops detonated inside Israeli territory near the Lebanon border. No casualties were reported in the incident.

IDF Strikes Dozens of Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon
Over the past 24 hours, the IDF struck more than 25 Hezbollah terror sites across southern Lebanon, including weapons depots, launchers, and command infrastructure used to plan attacks against Israeli forces and civilians. Additional strikes targeted terrorists and launchers in the Christofani Ridge area.

Weapons Depot, Rocket Shaft Destroyed in Gaza
The IDF destroyed a Hamas weapons warehouse and a rocket launch shaft in northern Gaza overnight. The site contained dozens of weapons, including more than 20 mortar shells, launchers, explosives, and rifles. The infrastructure was intended for attacks against Israeli troops near the “yellow line” and Israeli civilians.
