During the Holocaust, Noah Van Ouwerkerk’s family saved Jews from the Nazis. Today, Noah is a soldier in the IDF.

During the Holocaust, there were non-Jews who risked their lives in order to save Jews from the Nazis.

These non-Jews are awarded the honorary title of “Righteous Among the Nations.”As of 1 January 2021, Yad Vashem has recognized 27,921 Righteous Among the Nations from 51 countries.
