Is Israel about to join the Iran – USA war?

A series of developments in recent days are beginning to paint a picture that demands attention. While none of these events prove that a large-scale war with Iran involving Israel is imminent, the accumulating pattern is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

The list of warning signs is growing. The US State Department is now recommending that American citizens reconsider travel to the Middle East in general and Israel in particular.

The United States is evacuating aircraft from Gulf bases, including Al-Udeid in Qatar, while dozens of advanced fighter jets—F-35s, F-22s, and F-15s—have arrived at the Lakenheath base in Britain

More American refueling planes are expected in Israel in the coming days.

Meanwhile, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino released an AI-generated video of B-2 bombers, a move reminiscent of similar imagery shared before Operation Lion’s Roar.

All of this unfolds against a backdrop of escalating American airstrikes and Iranian retaliations.

Yet, caution is warranted. In the past, similar signs have appeared without leading to war.

Some were present before Operation Lion’s Roar, but also during other periods of heightened tension that did not escalate into immediate confrontation. Individually, each sign remains inconclusive.

As security analyst Tamir Almog of Channel 14 noted, what makes the current situation unique is the convergence of multiple significant indicators alongside a shift in the nature of American military operations.

Initially, attacks focused on tactical targets aimed at disrupting Iran’s ability to interfere with navigation in the Strait of Hormuz—radars, UAV depots, and cruise missile launch sites.

Now, strikes are expanding to deeper targets. Reports indicate attacks are no longer confined to the Hormuz area but extend along the Gulf coast, including Khuzestan province and the city of Ahvaz near the Iraqi border.

Simultaneously, there is a concerted American effort to damage supply routes to Bandar Abbas by targeting bridges and railroads—a move suggesting an attempt to degrade not only Iran’s immediate capabilities but also its logistical infrastructure.

Adding to this picture, US Central Command announced that two American soldiers were killed and another is missing following an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Jordan.

For President Donald Trump, lethal harm to American troops represents a red line that could trigger further escalation.

The attacks around Bandar Abbas deserve particular scrutiny.

While speculation remains, targeting bridges and railways leading to the city could align with a scenario where the United States seeks to isolate the area in preparation for a ground operation, with Bandar Abbas serving as a bridgehead for forces landing in Hormozgan province.

When these developments appear together, alongside expanding American attacks and intensifying confrontation with Iran, they paint a picture markedly different from what we knew only a short time ago.

This may be merely a pressure campaign, or it could be preparation for the next phase. For now, the only certainty is that regional tensions continue to rise.
