Battalion 636 located terrorists in Jenin beforehand, warned troops in real time about their approach, and eliminated some directly.
Israeli security forces followed the squad and informed the soldiers on the spot about the expected gunfire, after which an IDF drone eliminated the terrorists in time.
The commanders will be trained to use Elbit’s Hermes 450 (known as Zik in Hebrew), according to The Jerusalem Post.
The IDF said that during the operation its drones flew more than 2000 flight hours, made over 100 sorties, and performed dozens of attacks.
Remotely manned aircraft have become an influential factor in the IDF’s operational activities.
