The IDF and Shin Bet announced Thursday evening that eight Hamas terrorists involved in the October 7th massacre, including those who kidnapped Israeli civilians from the Nova music festival, have been eliminated.
Throughout the war, the IDF and Shin Bet have worked to locate and eliminate the terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory on October 7th and took part in the brutal slaughter of civilians in the communities surrounding Gaza.
Among those killed were Ahmad Abu Marahil and Ahmad Ibrahim Agab Sha’ar, who were behind the abductions of Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or, and Ahmad Arafat Dib, who was responsible for the kidnapping of Eitan Mor from the Nova festival and held him captive for Hamas.
Five additional Hamas terrorists with major roles in the October 7th massacre were also eliminated.
Many of these terrorists were seen by Israelis in the horrifying videos that surfaced on the morning of the massacre. Their deaths send a clear message that those who took part in the atrocities will not escape justice.
Families of the victims expressed deep gratitude and relief upon learning of the eliminations. The families of Eitan Mor and Avinatan Or released a statement saying, “We heard with joy that the terrorists who kidnapped Eitan and Avinatan were eliminated by the IDF and Shin Bet. We thank the heroic fighters for these actions.”
They added a message to those terrorists still at large: “The vile murderers who have not yet been eliminated should know their day will come. Anyone who chose the path of terror will face the fire of hell.”
The families continued, “These terrorists will no longer kidnap, murder, or be released in another deal to harm children again. The days of turning the other cheek are over. October 7th woke us all up. We call on the government to continue striking those who kidnapped, murdered, and raped, and not allow anyone to escape the punishment they deserve: death.”
Security officials said the eliminations were carried out as part of an ongoing intelligence effort led by a joint operations center formed by the Shin Bet, the Military Intelligence Directorate, and the IDF’s Southern Command.
The unit, composed of both reservists and active-duty personnel, conducts deep intelligence research to locate every terrorist involved in the October 7th invasion and close operational circles for their elimination.
Through precise intelligence and coordinated military action, Israel has succeeded in targeting senior Nukhba commanders who directed the attacks on Israeli communities and those who planned the killings and abductions at the Nova festival.
Israel remains determined to ensure that every terrorist responsible for the October 7th atrocities is brought to justice and that none are left alive to endanger innocent lives again.
