IDF Neutralizes Terrorists and Dismantles Hamas Infrastructure in Khan Yunis

Over the past two months, IDF troops of the 36th Division, in coordination with Yahalom combat engineers, conducted extensive operations in the Khan Yunis area and later redeployed east of the Yellow Line, following directives from the political leadership to support the ceasefire framework.

During these operations, the IDF eliminated dozens of terrorists and dismantled hundreds of terrorist infrastructure sites, both above and below ground. The forces located and neutralized Hamas tunnel shafts, weapons caches, and observation equipment.

Combat teams from the 7th Armored Brigade and Golani Brigade, working alongside Yahalom units, successfully identified and destroyed four major underground tunnel routes and dozens of buildings used by Hamas operatives.

The IDF emphasized that the operations were conducted in full compliance with political directives and the ceasefire agreements, with the goal of neutralizing immediate threats to both Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Southern Command continues to operate in the Yellow Line area, ensuring the ongoing security of Israeli territory and preventing any resurgence of terrorist activity.
