According to the Ministry of Defense, over 100,000 tons of military gear have arrived in Israel since the beginning of the war.

Israel continues to receive critical military aid from its closest ally: the United States.

In a major logistical operation completed today (Wednesday), dozens of armored D9 bulldozers were delivered to Israel’s northern port of Haifa, bolstering the IDF’s ground capabilities amid the ongoing war.

The delivery — coordinated by the Israeli Ministry of Defense’s procurement mission in the U.S., the IDF’s Planning Directorate, and the International Defense Transportation Division — included dozens of D9 bulldozers and other land-based military assets.

The shipment was received at Haifa Port by Defense Ministry Director General Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram, who emphasized the strategic significance of the delivery:

“This is part of a massive military buildup involving billions of shekels worth of weaponry and equipment approved by the U.S. government and transported to Israel. In recent weeks, we’ve received numerous cargo ships and aircraft loaded with vital supplies.”

Once unloaded, the equipment was transferred via dozens of military transport trucks to logistics bases, where the bulldozers will be armored and prepared for deployment.

According to the Ministry of Defense, over 100,000 tons of military gear have arrived in Israel since the beginning of the war, across 870 cargo flights and 144 sea shipments — making it the largest military airlift and sealift in Israel’s history.

The D9 bulldozers, known for their combat engineering capabilities and battlefield survivability, have played a vital role in past IDF operations, from clearing terror tunnels to breaching urban warfare zones.

This latest shipment is expected to significantly strengthen Israel’s operational flexibility and future readiness.
