MOD achieves major advancement in Iron Dome Defense System

The Iron Dome Defense System, since its operational debut in 2011, has proved itself a major component of Israel’s Air and Missile Defense Array.

The Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) at the Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D) within the Israel Ministry of Defense (MOD), together with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, successfully completed a series of interception tests of the Iron Dome defense system against a variety of advanced threats and scenarios.

The Iron Dome Defense System, since its operational debut in 2011, has proved itself a major component of Israel’s Air and Missile Defense Array.
